Israel is not all about tanning on the beach, touring holy sites or walking through archaeological digs.
There is so much more happing around the country. For those visiting Israel during the summer months, there are plenty of summer events, festivals, markets and happenings across the country. From water fun to tunnel tours, hiking in streams to rafting down rivers, enjoying a concert to relaxing on the beach, there really is something for everyone.
Let us start by giving you few tips how to survive the Israeli summer:
Carry a bottle of water with you all day long. Drink at least 2 liter per day. You may use mineral water but tap water in Israel is safe to drink.
When exposed to sun, wear a wide-rim hat that will provide a sun protection to your nape and forehead.
The UV is extremely high therefore using a high UV sunscreen is essential.
Wear sunglasses at all daytime.
