Now that you know what to expectlet me assist you with my useful info when travelling to Israel. My tips will make your stay a memorable and enjoyable years to cherish.

Take your time, relax on your couch and read my useful information before visiting Israel.

  • To avoid dehydration always carry a bottle of water. Drink plenty of water daily (drink at least 1 1/2 liter per day). You may use mineral water but tap water in Israel is safe to drink.

  • When exposed to sun, wear a wide-rim hat that will provide a sun protection to your nape and forehead.

  • The UV is very high therefore using a high UV sunscreen is essential.

  • Wear sunglasses at all daytime.

  • Wear comfortable shoes and light layers of clothing (in the winter season, be equipped with warmer clothes).

  • Women should dress modestly (sleeves and long pants/skirts/dresses) when walking through religious areas and Holy Sites.

  • Bring light jackets for the mountains and desert areas (in summertime).

  • Rent a pre-paid or pay-as-you-go cell phone at the airport.

  • Go everywhere with your cell phone.

  • Prepare all your senses to feel the diversity of the smells, the tastes, colors and the variety life styles in Israel.
